Anadys offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits program with most of our health benefits offered to employees at no cost. All of our employees have an ownership position in the Company. Medical Coverage Through Aetna
Medical coverage is available to full-time regular employees and their eligible dependents at a very minimal monthly premium contribution. Employees have the option to choose a PPO plan or HMO plan. A prescription drug program is also offered with these plans.

Dental Coverage
Dental insurance is available to full-time regular employees and their eligible dependents and covers preventive, basic and major restorative care.

Vision Coverage
Vision coverage is offered to all full-time regular employees and their dependents for a minimal cost to employees.

Life Insurance
The full cost of the employee life insurance program is paid by the company. This plan provides your beneficiaries with 1x your annual salary.

Long-Term Disability
The full cost of this plan is paid by the company. This benefit ensures income protection during an employee's disability period.

Flexible Benefits Reimbursement Account
This program allows you to elect to have pre-tax dollars taken out of your normal wages and reimbursed to you once you incur costs associated with qualified health care expenses, dependent care or elder care.

401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
All employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan effective the first of the calendar quarter following their hire date. Starting in January 2006, Anadys will match $0.25 on every dollar that an employee invests in their 401k Plan up to 6 percent.

ESPP/Stock Options
All employees participate in the company's Equity Incentive Plan and may participate, if they wish, in the company's Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Stock options, under the Equity Incentive Plan, are granted by Anadys' Board of Directors. Under the ESPP, employees may elect to purchase the company's common stock at a discounted price through payroll deductions.

Tuition Reimbursement Program
Anadys Pharmaceuticals will reimburse a certain portion of pre-approved coursework up to a maximum of $1,000 per year.

Employee Referral Bonus Program
Employees may receive a referral bonus for candidates who are hired for full-time regular positions.
